Field visit

A field visit by the Société du Grand Projet du Sud-Ouest team to the Aménagements Ferroviaires au Nord de Toulouse (AFNT) project: an opportunity to take stock of the situation before construction begins early next year, once environmental authorization has been obtained.

The AFNT consists of 19 km of upgrades, including 17 km of line doubling, to increase capacity for everyday trains, with a pre-opening date of 2026, then to accommodate the hashtag#LGV and the Service Express Régional Métropolitain, the SERM, in 2031.

Platform lengthening and multimodal exchange hubs at 6 stations and stops will welcome the many travelers in good conditions for decarbonized public transport.
