86% of people living in the South-West approve of LNSO (the New South-West Line): this is the result of a survey carried out by ODOXA/SNCF Réseau/SGPSO between 17 and 26 April among a sample of 1,994 people living in the South-West, including 1,057 people living in Aquitaine and 937 people living in the Midi-Pyrénées.
82% of people living in the South-West are convinced of the benefits of the New Line in terms of providing better access to the region and improving links between the towns and departments of the South-West.
This is not only because they believe it will have a positive impact on the environment and the economy, but also because it will make everyday journeys easier.
Beyond that, the LNSO will bring improvements to journeys between Toulouse and Bordeaux (86%) and between Spain and South-West France (82%).
Moreover, 79% of people living in the South-West of France think that the LNSO will encourage them to take the train more often to Spain and Portugal.
